Yes, you can get a no. But at least you know that you asked.
As Steve Jobs in the video explained that most people don’t ask and they miss valuable opportunities.
If some course is too expensive ask for a lower price.
If you have a start-up idea ask an investor.
If you need help ask for advice.
Just ask.
When I was 17 years old I wanted to take breakdance lessons. I asked if that is possible because of my health problems then. They said it is not a problem.
I did it for 5 years actively and to this day I still enjoy breakdancing sometimes (but doing it less often).
A few years ago I wanted to organize a breakdance competition.
I asked. No answer.
After some time. I asked again and then I’ve gotten an answer and I organized the competition successfully.
So yeah, just ask.
Because getting no is better than not asking.
